They will help you get your appliance back up and running as quickly as they can. If your appliance cannot be repaired then we will decide to either offer you a replacement appliance or a settlement based on the age of the appliance, up to the value of £1000 to go towards a replacement, all as standard under our appliance Insurance policy.
We do not provide cover for appliances that are still under a manufacturers’ guarantee or extended warranty. You are eligible to take out a Home Appliance Guard appliance insurance policy once your manufacturers’ guarantee or extended warranty expires.
Unlike most insurance companies we do not place many restrictions on what you can cover. It doesn’t matter how old your appliance is, the make or model, a breakdown insurance policy from Home Appliance Guard has got you covered, provided your appliance is not under a manufacturers’ guarantee or extended warranty. Home Appliance Guard is unable to cover appliances that are for commercial use.
If a fault occurs within the first 21 days of the start date of your policy an excess of £100 will be applicable.
With a Home Appliance Guard insurance product there are no restrictions on the amount of times you can claim.
